Clemson is finalizing a six-year contract extension for head coach Brad Brownell, multiple media outlets reported Wednesday.Financial terms were not disclosed about the deal that will keep Brownell with the program through the 2030-31 season.Per reports, the extension is pending approval from the Clemson board of trustees.After taking the program to the Elite Eight last season, Brownell was rewarded in July with a contract extension through the 2028-29 season. This extension will replace that one.Brownell, 56, made $3.5 million this past season, with the number to grow $250,000 every year thereafter.
